"So... what's the bad news?"

Well, it's pretty bad. The Bible teaches that every last one of us, no matter how good we think we are, or try to be, we are still sinners. And sinners are all under judgment, and can't be in the presence of a holy God. In other words, sin is the problem, and we all deserve hell.

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.  (Isaiah 59:2)

There is no one righteous, not even one.  (Romans 3:10)

The wages of sin is death.  (Romans 6:23)

 

 "Come on, Death? Hell? Surely I'm not that bad."
