That's the thing. You can't. I mean, the standard is simple enough--absolute, one-hundred percent, spotless, birth-to-death sinless perfection. I'm guessing you can't honestly lay claim to that. I sure can't. You and I and everyone else walking this planet have already blown it. Degrees of goodness? Don't go there. Comparing yourself to others? Don't waste your time, because others are not the standard. God is.
There is no one who does good, not even one. (Romans 3:12)
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law. (Romans 3:20)
