"That's too easy. Doesn't that seem too good to be true?"

Easy? Not on your life. There was nothing easy about what Jesus did when he died on the cross to pay for your sins...but HE is the one who did it, so that you don't have to...because you couldn't, even if you wanted to. He did it because He loves you. Yes, you. Even in spite of...well, you know.

It might seem too good to be true, but that's why the word "gospel" means "Good News." The reality is, it's the ONLY way. Jesus said of himself:

I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. (John 14:6).

Too good for words, perhaps. But it's true, just the same.

It's a gift, free and clear. And you never pay for a gift, not even a little. Otherwise it's not really a gift.

"So how do I receive this gift?"
